Ideal Pediatric Urgent Care Position in a Growing Southern Community with an Easy Commute to/from Atlanta
Pediatric Acute Care is seeking a new Pediatrician to join their team. This pediatric urgent care facil ity provides excellent patient care to children and adolescents in the Columbus and surrounding areas. The opportunity abounds with a large population area and a highly supportive and experienced staff. This unique opportunity offers flexible hours and excellent compensation. X-ray, breathing treatments, minor I&D, laceration repair, sutures, splinting and CLIA tests are all available onsite. The ideal candidate possesses an excellent clinical skill set, leadership capabilities, an outgoing personality and a passion for high quality care in a positive environment.
The physician will have the following responsibilities:
- Communication with billing manager regarding coding and ICD changes
- Creation and review of protocols, policies and procedures
- Supervision of Nurse Practitioners â€" also provide backup via phone for NPs
- Develops standard of care for clinic and troubleshoots any complaints
- Availability to work 6+ shifts per month
