Analyst, Pricing
The Pricing team is a part of Linear Revenue Yield Management within Disney Ad Sales, a division within the Disney Media & Entertainment Distribution Segment of The Walt Disney Company. Our primary responsibilities include:Ratecard selling schedule creation and management, inventory management, deal approvals, and avails reporting.The group regularly interacts with a broad array of other departments including Planning, Revenue Analytics, all levels of Sales, Global Ad Ops, Network Scheduling, Network Promo, Traffic, Tech, Sales Enablement, Research, Client Solutions and Finance. The goal of the team is to maximize revenue and respond to advertiser needs through inventory management across both upfront and scatter marketplace deals.
Disney Ad Sales Revenue Management division is seeking an Analyst who will be an outstanding addition to our Pricing & Planning team. The Analyst position will help the Pricing Management team manage commercial inventory to ensure DAS secures the highest value possible against the network’s P&L, while concurrently striving to satisfy the varied and dynamic needs of partner advertisers.
Within the Revenue Yield Management and Operations teams, this role will partner closely with Planners, AMs and scheduling team on a daily basis to ensure ad inventory is used to satisfy deal commitments and revenue needs. They will also provide a variety of support including reporting on avails in the various planning and inventory systems by managing makegoods, pre-emptions and ADU allocations. This role will also provide ongoing support to the pricing and planning management in various pricing exercises/projects.

Help manage commercial inventory, and all elements that effect commercial inventory on a daily basis: Clients changes, program pre-emptions, client deals, inventory exchanges, ads, etc. in alignment with achieving P+L goals
Mentor AMs re acceptable inventory change requests relative to their deals and in consideration of financial impact.
Assess short term avails to make recommendation to multiple constituents (AMs, Planners, scheduling) regarding short term usage tactics.
Inventory reporting and other Various inventory/pricing team projects
Co-ordinate with Scheduling team and AD Ops Associates/Planners to ensure all client scheduling is in house and approved
Work Experience
2+ years business experience, with some understanding of Media Pricing or Planning in a national sales organization required.
Quantitative thinker, with interest in problem solving and detail orientation.
Ability to multi-task and thrive in a collaborative, dynamic sales organization.
Excellent verbal/written communication and organizational skills.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

The hiring range for this position in location is $76,770 to $93,830 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
