Description: Northside Hospital is employing Patient Access Representative, PRN / Per Diem, Saturday (Clerical) right now, this vacancy will be depute in Georgia. The Patient Access Representative arranges for efficient and accurate collection of information for orderly registra! tion of pediatric, adult and geriatric patients. Collects and distributes patient information, billing information and collection information. Makes patients and families aware of hospital policies and procedures. The duties of this position require the exercise of courtesy in speaking with patients, families and others to maintain sound community relations.
Six months clerical or customer service experience, preferably in a hospital or medical office.
Collections experience in a medical setting.
Excellent communication and strong customer service skills.
Working knowledge and ability to perform accurately and efficiently on computer.
Typing skills of 30 wpm.
