Job Designation: Health Care Business Analyst
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Manages and performs all aspects of requirements gathering for Healthcare services projects
- Working under the supervision of a manager or designee, perform all phases of scheduled and corrective repairs of biomedical equipment and medical systems.
- Documents, presents information, and leads discussions related to process flows, high-level business requirements, detailed functional requirements, use cases, data flows, UI mock-ups, and user test scripts.
- Performs scheduled and unscheduled inspections, maintenance and electrical safety tests of biomedical equipment where applicable to maintain code compliance.
- Acts as subject matter expert on establishing efficient and scalable business processes for corresponding business unit(s)
- Understands how requirements impact application design and end-user functionality
- Maintains project pipeline in conjunction with contributing to project scope definition
- Creates application, Program, and/or project roadmap(s) in conjunction with stakeholders to provide visibility into business needs
- Collaborates with project team to help rationalize, plan, scope, and schedule future projects
- Works with business partners to develop concepts and requirements for new system and service initiatives
- Collaborates with team members with assigned tasks and manages own project tasks on a day-to-day basis
- Works closely with all business roles, including Implementation, Account Management, services supervisors, client care, HCS PMO and IT
- Works with individuals and teams across platforms, applications, and/or business lines
- Provides consistent and comprehensive status updates on a regular basis
- Contributes to the processes and the methodologies pertaining to the business analysis of projects and acts as an expert knowledgeable of all aspects of their use and deployment
- Performs problem management responsibilities as needed
- Assists other business analyst resources as needed
- Assists PMO and/or Governance functions with status and metric reporting as needed
- Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
- Responsible for documenting the results of all inspections, maintenance and tests.
