Description: The Georgia Hearing Institute, an affiliate of The ENT Center of Central Georgia is at the momment seeking for 4th Year Audiology Extern right now, this occupation will be dwelled in Georgia. Further informations about this occupation opportunity please read the description below. 4th year audiology externship position available starting June 2014. The position is full time, 8:00am - 5:00pm. We ! have three offices, however only offer audiology services in our Macon and Warner Robins locations. The extern may travel to our satelitte office, however that has not been done in the past and may not begin during the 2014-2015 year. As an extern you will work in a fast paced environment with three full time audiologists and 1 part time audiologist. Your time is divided between ENT diagnostic (serving our 7 ENT physicians, performing diagnostic audiometry/immittance testing/DPOAEs) on pediatrics through adults. The other part of your time will be spent in the Georgia Hearing side where you will work with pediatric through adult patients as well completing hearing aid evaluations, fittings, adjustments and repairs. We have 2 cochlear implant surgeons who currently implant the Cochlear device. Therefore, you will learn how to complete evaluations as well as perform mappings on pediatrics through adults. Vestibular assessment is completed using VNG, VEMP and ECochG. ABRs are ! completed under natural sleep for peditric thresholds and for ! dignostic testing.

Our satelittle office is located in Warner Robins, which is approximately 20 miles from our primary location in Macon.
