ER need Milledgeville area. UC locations are Macon, Savannah, Warner Robbi! ns and Carrollton areas.
Emergency Medicine:
$178/hr to start, an annual retention bonus of about $6000 and annual salary increases of $4/hour
This Central Georgia medical center, in conjunction with a physician owned Emergency medicine staffing firm, is seeking a BC/BE Emergency Medicine Physician. The employer will also consider BC/BE Family Practice or Internal Medicine physicians seeking work in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities include,
- Providing immediate diagnosis and recognition, care and stabilization of a large range of both adult and pediatric patients subjected to acute injuries and illnesses.
- Resuscitating or stabilizing patients and referring them to the appropriate medical departments.
- Working as part of a team, with physicians of other specialties and other members of the emergency room staff.
- Evaluating a wide variety of ailments, sometimes with little to no information. !
- Ability to think and act quickly to make a tentative diagn! osis and determine the appropriate course of treatment.
Urgent Care:
The second largest hospital in Georgia is seeking to employ a board certified/board eligible Family Practice or Emergency medicine physician wishing to practice in a high volume/high acuity Urgent Care center that functions like a level 2 or 3 emergency center. The center treats 70 to 90 patients a day and supports a level 1 trauma center. The physician will coordinate and facilitate clinical, administrative and professional activities as delegated by the Medical Director and Administration, as well as, collaborate ! with other physicians, staff and community agencies to provide continuity of care for patients in any designated setting. The physician ensures all services are delivered safely, confidentially and promptly. The physician must possess excellent clinical and quick decision-making skills. Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records is vital. Two years experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency setting is preferred.
Base Salary Component for Urgent Care
Provider shall be paid a gross base rate of One Hundred Twelve Dollars ($112.00) per hour .
Individually Based Incentive Component
In addition to the Base Salary set forth above, each Physician shall be eligible for additional compensation ("Incentive Compensation" ) based on individual performance and productivity, not to exceed a total of 15% of Base Salary ( compensation for additional shifts will not be considered as Base Salary), or an annual total of $34,000.
Group Based Incentive Compone! nt
Each full time provider also has the opportunity to earn additio! nal incentive compensation from bonus amounts that are not earned by other members of the group.
Total Cash Compensation
When the facilities are resourced according to the staffing plan, Total Cash Compensation will be capped for each provider at the 90th percentile of the National market using the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) compensation survey. For Fy12, the 90th percentile cap is $306, 910.
