BOOST Journeys is a boutique luxury travel firm (member of the Virtuoso consortium) that creates unique journeys and provides highly personalized travel services to discerning clients.
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who enjoys a collaborative, fast-paced environment to serve as a Luxury Travel Agent, focused upon being the Reservation Specialist. The Reservation Specialist will be the authority on the team, supporting both Travel Designers and our Executive and UHNW clients relative to booking air, hotel, and other travel-related reservations. While the position is remote, it would be beneficial to be based in either Boston, MA., or Nashville, TN.
Responsibilities
- Work with industry systems and partners to manage the company’s reservations, resulting in the best options for Boost team members and Boost clients; make changes and provide support as needed.
- Support Boost team members by researching and managing all logistics including flights, hotels, events, transfers, VIP services (some concierge)
- Research and book flights for all journeys using Sabre GDS
- Research and book hotels using Sabre and various Boost curation resources
- Book private transfers, VIP assistance, event tickets, etc.
- Maintain relationships with VWT and airline partners – work with them as necessary to resolve any client issues when support is needed
- Upload flights to On Journey Support Calendar and monitor for schedule changes, etc.
- Ensure accuracy, track, and manage maximum commission opportunities and develop continuing relationships that allow us to liaise for internal support and ensure the highest service for BOOST clients.
- Liaise with airlines and ‘reps’ for waivers, favors, assistance with problems or issues, schedule changes, etc.
- Manage bookings for Boost employees for Team Events, Conferences, Meetings, and Familiarization Trips (as needed)
- Support Boost employees’ personal bookings for reduced rates as an employee benefit of Boost Journeys
- Work directly with BOOST reserve clients to book flights, reservations for hotels, private transfers, VIP assistance, events, etc.
- Work with select clients on their more compact bookings – hotel curation/booking, flights, simple logistics and extras
Other:
- Events/Group Block Management with hotel partners – establishing relationships with Sales team, obtaining quotes, etc.
- Cruise booking via Cruise company booking portal and sales teams
- Ensuring Boost IATA and address are accurate with all partners. Creating login via agent portal whenever possible to manage reservations and track commission
REQUIREMENTS |
· Experience in luxury travel – 10+ years travel industry experience
· Proficient in SABRE (5+ years’ experience)
· Experience with CRM and Project Management Software
· Serviced VIP and C-Suite Executive Level accounts to global destinations
· Excels in Logistics
· Strong working knowledge and agility in airline related matters
· Proven ability to work collaboratively
· Exceptionally detail-oriented
· Great at customer service
· College degree

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
