The Shift Supervisor assures the provision of optimal service to the internal and external customers of the Department of Respiratory Care . The Shift Supervisor determines work load and makes assignments, assuring the appropriate number of associates to meet the patient care needs of that shift.
The Shift Supervisor is responsible for determining the clinical competence and evaluation of associates as assigned. The Shift Supervisor is responsible for coaching and counseling of associates per departmental policy when compliance issues arise. Registered Respiratory Therapist! , Bachelors degree preferred. Current licensure by the state o! f Georgia as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Current Advanced Life Support (ACLS) Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Current neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Georgia Department of Human Resources technologist status Four years critical Care experience Previous supervisory experience preferred Cleanâ€"shaven to meet fitâ€"testing standard for NIOSH approved Respiratory protection.
7aâ€"7p weekdays/weekends required.
