Requirements
Excellent opportunity for a Board Certified/Board Admissible pediatric physician or graduating resident or fellow with ACLS, PALS and NRP to practice in coastal Georgia with a growing and dynamic, established practice.
Schedule
Office hours: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Southeast Georgia Health System will manage your office and provide staff while you concentrate on patients.
Hospital Privileges
Southeast Georgia Health System-Camden Campus - The Camden hospital is a newly renovated and expanded 40 bed care center located in St. Mary’s and offers a new critical care unit, with telemetry. The recent expansion project added 90,000 square feet to the facility and affected virtually every department in the hospital. The additions included two new generously sized and equipped operating rooms, with the opportunity to expand to four, a new, greatly expanded Emergency Care Center, a new Maternity Care Center, and new areas for rehabilitation, imaging and outpatient services. The medical staff includes more than 130 physicians representing many major medical specialties, plus a full support staff of! health care professionals.
Call:
Call for the practice is 1:2 (every other week for 7 days at at time)
ER unassigned call is once every 4-5 weeks as a rotation (maternity/nursery stat calls)
Time to respond is 30 minutes
Other information:
10% inpatient and 90% outpatient
The physicians don't do circumcisions and only attend high risk deliveries if a problem is identified and the OB requests them which isn't too common. They don't routinely attend c-sections and our nursery is a level 1
Our Town:
Camden County (30 minutes north of Jacksonville, Florida) is one county below Glynn and is home to our sister campus. It is smaller, 40 beds with a 6 bed ICU. In March 09, we opened the new $33 million addition which includes all new patient care areas with two new generously sized and equipped operating rooms.
The town of St. Mary's is smaller (approximate pop. 60,000 county wide) and quaint. ! It is a wonderful place to live and raise a family and close to Jackson! ville or Brunswick. The town is full of many young families as it is home to Kings Bay Submarine Base. All of Camden County's schools are fully accredited by the (SACS). The district has been named a SACS "Super District" for the last three years.
We are not a trauma center as Jacksonville is 30 minutes south so we stabilize and send these patients to Jacksonville. We provide care to Camden and Charlton counties in Georgia, as well as Nassau County in Florida.
