Further informations about this vacancy opportunity kindly see the descriptions. We are currently assisting a client in Georgia with the recruitment of a BC/BE Radiation Oncologist. This regional medical center is in the final stages of building a brand new state of the art Cancer Center which will provide a broad range of services including consultation and radiation treatment planning, external beam therapy, brachytherapy, stereotactic radiotherapy, therapeutic radioisotope administration, research protocol administration and ongoing care and follow-up for adult and pediatric patients with a variety of malignant and non-malignant conditions. With these services, the Cancer Center will have the latest and most state-of-the-art equipment and technology available. The center will be supported by up to three medical cancer clinics, many primary care clinics, and two urology practices throughout the region. The Cancer Center is set to open in January.
This community is located 90 miles from Macon, and 90 miles from Savannah, and is 170 miles East of Atlanta. It has local population of 15,000 and a service draw of 110,000. An industrial, agriculture and manufacturing economy, low cost of living, and low crime rate. There are excellent public schools and many good two and four-year colleges in the state of Georgia for higher education. For recreation, there are three golf courses, hunting, fishing, theatre, museums, festivals, organized sports, and much more. This is a great location to set up house and raise a family.
