BitPay is looking for an AML Onboarding Analyst to join our Legal and Risk team. As an AML Onboarding Analyst, you will play a critical role in the onboarding of new merchants by conducting KYC/KYB, customer due diligence, and assisting with various projects as required. Responsibilities:
- Evaluate new merchant applications in accordance with our internal onboarding procedures
- Regularly review and monitor merchant account details to ensure compliance with legal requirements and adherence to our Terms of Use
- Assist in customer due diligence projects
- Engage with customers via email to address compliance-related inquiries and provide guidance
- Ensure appropriate documentation and screening of new and existing merchants has been completed and refreshed in accordance with our internal procedures
- Assist with other tasks and responsibilities as needed

Requirements:
- 0-2 years of experience, preferably within the financial services industry or related support or customer service roles
- Collaborative team player with a positive sense of humor
- Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Highly motivated with meticulous attention to detail
- Quick learner, eager to acquire new skills and knowledge
- Self-driven with the ability to work flexible hours and excel in high-pressure situations
