Sales Manager (Indochina) [Vietnam]

We secure the food, feed and biofuels industries, helping to safely produce more from limited precious natural resources. We are aggressively expanding to provide services in all major markets by hiring sales/business development professionals looking for the opportunity to develop a market with minimal micromanaging and a great deal of support.

Position Overview:

Responsible for generating profitable revenue by maintaining and growing base business and sourcing new customers and accounts in Indochina (Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand & Myanmar). This is a position for a sales professional who is hungry for achieving business growth with responsibility for building a territory with a proven service/product. As a top performer, you will have a competitive basic and uncapped commission.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Business Development: Identify opportunities in existing and new markets. An individual with a proactive mentality and appetite for success. Uses social events to earn business and identifies potential marketing events.
  • Educating the Market: Introducing our products/services to prospective clients. Making sure decision-makers understand the benefits of the service and how it compares to other services.
  • Sales Accountability: Ensure all selling price changes effected are updated and implemented as and when required on budgeted volumes, so that selling prices & net contribution is achieved.
  • Able to fully utilize SFDC to ensure all sales activity is recorded and sales database is kept updated.
  • Company Image: While focused on achieving sales and revenue goals, always portraying the company in a positive light.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years proven sales experience in region.
  • Excellent local market knowledge of the animal feed/feed materials market and poultry/pig industry.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Animal/Poultry/Swine Nutrition (or equivalent).
  • Excellent English language skills.
  • Communicates effectively both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrates effective interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Prior experience working with a CRM (Salesforce ideally)
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) (desirable)
  • Additional languages – Vietnamese, Thai (desirable)

Hours of Work:

Working hours are standard Monday-Friday 8am-5pm and will be modified to meet the expectations of sales goals (customer hours, after-hours work as required).

Travel/location:

This position is home based in Vietnam with national/international travel up to 50%, with frequent overnight nights away as required.
