- Ensure that all purchasing activities are meeting company’s policies and procedure, and report any deviations to the department manager.
- Monitors business trends and product availability to pay the best price for company goods and services without sacrificing quality or delivery times.
- Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power
- Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
- Identifies and researches potential new suppliers
- Researches new products and services to meet company's goals
- Assesses total costs of company purchases
- Develops and implements strategies for procuring materials and services.
- Evaluate vendors performance
- Conduct periodical risk assessment, to identify any possible supply disruption or cost increase risks in order to take necessary actions to mitigate those risks timely
- Bachelor’s in supply chain management, logistics, engineering or business administration (CIPS) accreditation is a plus.
- 2-5 years of experience in Procurement/Supply chain.
- extensive knowledge of Ms. Excel (Power BI is a plus).
