General Warehouse Operative
Family-owned manufacturing company based in Celbridge are seeking an experienced General Warehouse Operative to join their warehouse team on a full-time, permanent basis. As a General Warehouse Operative, you will contribute to the overall operations of the business by picking and packing, handling goods, operating forklifts, order processing and other general warehouse duties.
The successful candidate will hold a valid counterbalance/PPT forklift licence and manual handling certificate. Previous experience within a fast-paced warehouse is necessary along with being IT literate to use the company online systems to track/process orders.
Responsibilities:
· Safely operating a counterbalance/PPT forklift around the warehouse to move products/load & unload deliveries from vans.
· Pick & pack orders
· Complete necessary paperwork accordingly
· Processing orders on company system
· Ensure cleanliness and safety standards are upheld in the warehouse at all times
· Making sure the warehouse runs smoothly by collaborating with the rest of the team
· Stocktaking
Requirements:
· Valid Counterbalance/PPT licence
· Manual handling certificate
· Previous, relevant warehouse experience
· Computer literate
· Strong motivation with a can-do attitude and the ability to work as part of a team
· Excellent attention to detail and highly organised
