AO2 Administration Officer [Australia]


 

Role Overview:

Public Sector People are partnering with a State Government Department to employ an AO2 Administration Officer on a contract basis.

In this role you will provide efficient, effective, and reliable clerical and administrative support to enable the team to meet its strategic, business and operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform administrative tasks to enable the efficient and effective collection, administration, and compliance
  • Manage correspondence (e.g. processing, and distribution) in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner.
  • Proactively and efficiently respond to queries from internal and external clients
  • Generate correspondence regarding basic queries to clients through formatted letter templates in accordance with Office processes.
  • Operate Office systems and devices (e.g. computer systems, multi-function devices, and telephones).
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve client service and efficiencies.
  • Ensure compliance with recordkeeping standards while managing timely, accurate, and complete information to enable smarter decision making.
  • Proactively contribute to achieve Division and Office objectives and client relationship management principles.
Requirements:
  • Working knowledge of digital and data technology/systems.
  • Attention to detail and time management skills.
