JOB DESCRIPTION:
This large Health Group in Southeast Georgia has a need for Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatricians. There will be a mix of traveling to locations and care in clinics.
This opportunity will consider H1 Visa candidates. Bi-Lingual English/Spanish is a MAJOR plus for the patient population in this area.
SALARY:
$150! ,000 annual salary.
REQUIRED LICENSES:
Mai! ntains Board Certification in Pediatric Medicine. Unlimited license to practice medicine by the Georgia State Board of Medical Examiners.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
1. Holds an unlimited license to practice medicine by the Georgia State Board of Medical Examiners or its successor entity.
2. Maintains eligibility to participate in the Medicare and Medicaid programs or any successor programs and such managed care programs as may be required.
3. Complies with the laws of the state of Georgia and any and all federal laws and regulations.
4. Complies with any applicable standard of the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and any federal, state or private funding agencies.
5. Complies with the ethical standards of the American Medical Association,
6. Obtains and maintains active medical staff privileges at Medical Center and/or other hospitals. Performs all duties and obligations this entails (conferences, committee).
7! . Interprets Lab data.
8. Maintains general office hours consistent with the business hours of physician offices to which Physician is assigned
9. Shares on call duties and responsibilities with local physicians and respective on call group and shares after hours telephone calls from patients.
10. Maintains board certification in pediatric medicine.
11. Supervise Mid-level providers.
12. Participants in the Migrant & Seasonal Farm Workers Camp Visits.
13. Refers patients to other practitioners when such consultation and referrals are in the patients best interest.
14. Agrees to act in a manner that is consistent not only with his/her ethical, legal and moral responsibilities to patients.
15. All other such duties and responsibilities as the CMO/CEO determines as necessary to the delivery of quality medical care to community members.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Requires full range of motion including handling and lifting pati! ents, manual and finger dexterity and eye hand coordination.
2. Oft! en requires standing and walking for prolonged periods of times.
3. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 50 lbs.
4. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
