The Registered Professional Nurse assesses assigned patients as well as plans, implements and evaluates care. Directs and assists in providing safe, aseptic technique and procedures. Provides leadership and direction to RNs, PCTs, Unit Secretaries and other patient care providers as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications: â€"Graduate of an accredited school of nursingâ€"Current State of Georgia Registered Nurse Licenseâ€"Completion of Preceptor Courseâ€"At least 2 years of clinical experience in specialty, at least 6 months of which was on current unitâ€"Demonstrates effective communication and critical thinking skillsâ€"Employed as a full ! time associateâ€"Completes 15 hours per year of basic educatio! n, 10 hours of specialty educationâ€"ASPAN certification preferredâ€"ACLS Certification requiredâ€"PALS requiredâ€"Specialty Certification desired
