A Speech Language Pathologist 1 provides the highest quality age-appropriate care for patients newborn to 21 years of age within the scope of practi! ce and established standards for speech-language pathology. Functions effectively as a member of the rehabilitation team.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Master's Degree in Communication Disorders/Speech-Language Pathology required.
Must have Proof of Georgia licensure in Speech-Language Pathology or eligible for Georgia licensure and proof of application; Certificate of Clinical Competence by the American-Speech-Language-Hearing Association in Speech-Language Pathology. BLS Certification.
Knowledge of pediatric theory and practice.
Excellent oral and written communication skills for effective communication of information and positive interpersonal skills and ability to function in an interdisciplinary environment.
Prefer a minimum of one-year pediatric experience in speech-language pathology and supervisory experience.
Must be able to successfully pass the Basic Windows Skill Assessment at 80% or higher rating within 30! days of date of hire.
